Explore the art of Mokuhanga, traditional Japanese woodblock printmaking, in this 4-week online course with artist Charles Spitzack. Rooted in Japan’s Edo period, Mokuhanga uses water-based pigments, hand-carved woodblocks, and washi paper to create rich, layered prints without a press.
Learn to design, carve, and print your own multi-color images while mastering registration, inking, and hand-printing techniques. Perfect for beginners and experienced printmakers, this course offers a mindful introduction to a timeless craft.
